First Fridays will take place the FIRST FRIDAY of every month through November and it is all about supporting LOCAL & SMALL whether that is businesses, artists, musicians etc. Artist of the Month Spotlight: I am sure you all have noticed that we host (1) artist every month to display their work on our wall of windows in the taproom, however this event is going to bring even MORE attention to them! They will come out on the First Friday's to talk about & sell even more of their work! So come meet the artists we showcase every month!
August: Holly Evans
Holly Evans is a preschool teacher by day and an artist by night. Often described as happy, joy-filled, and playful; her art is inspired by her daily experiences with inquisitive and imaginative two year olds. Holly finds the process of creating the most healing and satisfying. The use of different mediums allows her to learn new techniques, create depth/dimension in each piece adding layers of whimsy. She prefers using acrylics, recycled children’s literature and other reused or handmade papers to make collage pieces.
A North Carolina native who currently lives with her husband and best doggo in the historic Ardmore neighborhood of Winston Salem, she has two adult children and is enjoying her empty nest.
Vendor Market Setup in Parking Lot from 6-9 PM - Come shop and support local small businesses + listen to local musicians!
LIVE MUSIC: Ashley Santiago Band 6-9 PM!
And then, stick around for the Stand-Up Comedy Show by Beer Run Comedy at 9 pm!
And of course we will ALWAYS have a food truck & beer releases! Can't wait to see you all there!
