The 2022 First Friday Concerts in the Courtyard season presents Lassiter and the Weeds.They offer a fresh take on the stylings of honky-tonk and western swing music, using Upright Bass, Dobro, Fiddle, Mandolin, and Snare.Enjoy an evening under the ancient oaks at the 1846 Courthouse, aka the Portsmouth Art and Cultural Center. Beer and wine are offered for sale. The gallery will be open for guests to see the exhibits.
First Fridays are sponsored by Freedom Boat Club of Hampton Roads, Support Portsmouth Public Art, and the Portsmouth Art & Cultural Center. This event is free to the public.
You can also support local artists and authors at the First Friday Art Market surrounding the courtyard.
