Join us for quarterly First Fridays at the Library of Virginia! View a display by Virginia artists, enjoy refreshments, and get creative in our makerspace. You can also explore our current exhibition and visit the Virginia Shop for books and gifts.
February’s theme is Children. Virginia’s children, past and present, offer a glimpse of possibility, curiosity and hope. View works from local artists that demonstrate those qualities, as well as related items from our collections. Engage with the theme by creating your own paper dolls in our makerspace.
And don’t miss special performances by SPARC, Richmond’s youth performing arts education program, to be held in the Conference Rooms.
