We are excited to welcome Oshara Meesha back to Brew Bank! Join Oshara from 5-8 on first Friday, and then come back any time in the month of June to keep enjoying her work!Oshara Meesha is a creative artist who loves to make jewelry and other creations. She is also an abstract primitive painter. She has not always given herself credit as an artist.
She witnessed a traumatic accident when she was 5 years old and did not speak for 2 weeks. As a result of her childhood trauma, she lived the next 41 years unconsciously blaming herself for the tragedy. She developed a personality based upon the childhood tragedy.
She is now on the road of Post Traumatic Growth. A road she discovered by acknowledging her initial diagnosis of depression, anxiety and PTSD. She embarked on an inner journey with help from her mother who lives in Atlanta and her daughter. Her comfort comes through journaling, writing poetry and being creative. She is utilizing parts of her brain that is allowing her to follow her bliss. Her desire is to spend the rest of her life bringing healing through art and using it as a tool to allow others to bring healing into their own lives. She believes that if people could just express themselves they will find a whole new world.
Oshara has art at: Leaping LLamas and She is a Two Wolves Studio Collective member with Alex Lancaster. She is also a Speak Easy poet with Annette Billings and Sue Edgerton.
