The MTSU Department of Physics and Astronomy Star Parties are on the first Friday of each month.
Dr. Irina Perevalova will lead the First Friday Star Party at 6:30 p.m. Friday, April 5, in Room 102 of Wiser-Patten Science Hall. Topic: TBA
Friday Star Parties are FREE and open to the public; children are welcome. The format is a 30- to 45-minute lecture followed by a telescope viewing at the MTSU Observatory, weather permitting.

NOTE NEW PARKING LOCATIONS BEGINNING IN 2024: FREE Parking is available in either the Judd-Sims lot or the Library lot. Both are located on the north side of Alumni Drive between North Baird Lane and Womack Lane. You will not be ticketed after 4:30pm on Fridays.
