Come celebrate National Historic Preservation Month with the Morgantown History Museum! This event is part of the First Friday for the Arts in Downtown Morgantown. This month's feature is the opening of the Ruby & Ketchy's Restaurant exhibit. Ruby & Ketchy's was a well-loved local restaurant that served the Cheat Lake community for over six decades until its recent closure. Luckily, the Morgantown History Museum received a generous donation of artifacts from the restaurant that are being preserved for posterity.
This exhibit is interactive, and museum patrons will be able to sit inside an original booth from the restaurant and view original menus and other restaurant artifacts.
If you cannot attend on First Friday, then feel free to visit the museum during regular opening hours:
Wednesday-Friday 11am-5pm
Saturday-Sunday 12pm-6pm
And the evening of First Friday of every month.
ADMISSION IS ALWAYS FREE!
