**This event we will have tastings from Rohrbach Brewery, an acoustic performance by Leo, as well as our in-house chef, Bear, make a Linsensuppe (German Lentil Soup) for our patrons to try.**

"Hi! I am very pleased to have the opportunity to present my work to you. My story begins in Kharkiv (Ukraine), where I grew up, received my education and began working as a biologist at a research institute. When the war began, I was forced to move to Europe, where, in addition to work, I found joy in creativity. My works are done in Petrykivka painting technique. The first drawings in this style appeared in Ukraine as early as the 17th century. This technique requires patience, does not like haste. In order for each stroke, including "seed", "nut" and others, to turn out to be successful, the brush in the hand must be held confidently, all movements should be done smoothly. Peace of mind and balance are important, so the process of drawing is often compared to meditation. This art became part of my life, now I can share it with you here, in the US. I have paintings in other styles too, but they are always about the beauty of nature."
