First Friday - Meet Our Newest Resident Artist Ayiana Viviana

Join us for a special first Friday as we introduce our newest resident artist Ayiana Viviana.

We are excited to show case an exhibit of her artwork as she begins her residency with the Tacony LAB Community Art Center and the Tacony Community.

Her residency will be working with the community to create a series of banners on Torresdale Avenue. We will have refreshments, art activities and a short presentation by Ayiana. Come and learn about how you can be involved in the newest public art project in Tacony.

Tacony LAB Community Arts Center, a program of Mural Arts Philadelphia, is a community art center funded by the City of Philadelphia located in the Northeast section of Philadelphia. At the Tacony LAB, providing accessible and free art is a priority. It offers free classes for adults and children, ranging from fiber arts to drawing, painting, crafting, and more.
