Welcome to our First Friday Concert series at St. John's! All concerts begin at 12:00pm, on the first Friday of each month, September through May, and are presented in the historic St. John’s sanctuary. Concerts are free and open to the public, followed by a luncheon with a suggested $10 donation. Free parking is available on site.
Our April concert will feature the 40-voice Trinity University Chamber Singers, under the direction of Dr. Gary Seighman. The performance will include choral music by Thomas Morley, Eriks Esenvalds, Kim André Arnesen, Thomas Dorsey, and John Rutter. Featured student performer, Haniel Neves '25, will play organ works by Gawthrop and Mendelssohn.
First Friday is a ministry that enriches our community’s spiritual life through sacred music rooted in the liturgical feasts and seasons of the church. It brings joy, hope, and fellowship to all, with a special outreach to the elderly and homebound, ensuring everyone feels the light of Christ and a sense of belonging.
