Welcome to our 19th First Friday Concert series at St. John's! All concerts begin at 12:00pm, on the first Friday of each month, September through May, and are presented in the historic St. John’s sanctuary. Concerts are free and open to the public, followed by a luncheon with a suggested $10 donation. Free parking is available on site.
In November, we welcome mezzo-soprano Crystal Jarrell Johnson, trumpeter Jeff Castle, and keyboardist Geoffrey Waite in a performance entitled "Saints, Souls, & Seraphim." UTSA faculty members present a celebration of sacred song, featuring works of heavenly praise, including Handel’s soaring aria 'Let the Bright Seraphim,' and exploring our longing to join earthly voices with the eternal song of heaven.
