Don't miss out on CHARLIE RENFRO's HEAVY METAL show ... that's right! Come get you something heavy (and radical!) to haul home for those empty dingy walls!! These works are sure to impress. It ain't every day a badass photographer does the deal and gets the shots we all wish we could - and if you think you can - well, how far has that gotten you? OK - moving on - we are stoked to introduce our very own JENNY GLENN to ya'll. She is a lifetime local artist with an eccentric flair - she has originals that might literally knock your socks off (leave your socks on in the gallery though please). She is a bit eccentric and has brought us in works utilizing metal, wood, pebeo paint (similar to enamel), and acrylic. Hard to describe - you'll just have to see it in person. And Finally - our newest crew member, PAOLO ACUNA (watch out!). We can barely keep people from falling over backwards when they see his work ... we have to keep - literally - reassuring them that, yes, he is a local, and that, yes, he is real. I chalk that up to the edginess of his work though; I'd say most are a bit surprised that Stephan's has taken a (forever) trip to the wild side and we're enjoying every bit of it! So...all this and the SpeNerds to boot. If (for some crazy reason) you're not into art (is that even possible?) then come for the LIVE TUNES by one of our favorite local bands.
