The Christchurch Art Gallery Te Puna o Waiwhetū Foundation is throwing a party!Thanks to the incredible generosity of the amazing individuals and companies who support the Gallery, we are about to make our first acquisition from our $5 million TOGETHER endowment fund.
To mark this exciting moment, we are throwing our FIRST party on Friday 29 August to celebrate our FIRST acquisition!
We can’t say much (we don’t want to spoil the surprise on the night), but we can tell you it is a work from a very prominent, living Aotearoa New Zealand artist.
Join us for an unforgettable evening where art meets atmosphere. Expect flowing drinks, a mouthwatering menu curated by artists and art lovers and a room full of people who know how to celebrate properly.
Start the night with the cinematic sound of French for Rabbits, then slip into the after-hours with DJ Tony de Lautour – spinning for those who know the best conversations (and moves) happen late.
This is not just a party. It’s a curated experience.
Come and celebrate with us as we build on our art legacy for Ōtautahi Christchurch.
