Synopsis: Vee Tato is a history professor unafraid of challenging the pedagogical status quo. Her methods may be considered a little “outside-the-box,” even downright questionable on occasion, but no one can question her principles and her commitment to forwarding the LGBTQ+ cause on campus. That is until Vee comes under fire following a very controversial class assignment involving the Lavender Scare and some “whistleblower letters.” Soon, this one assignment has the entire university embroiled in a devastating scandal. Not to mention, a newly formed and quickly out-of-control “Dear Students” Instagram account has the LGBTQ+ community on campus terrified of stepping foot outdoors. This is a play about the lines we’re willing to cross in the name of trying to right the wrongs.
