Celebrate New Year’s Day with a First Day Hike at Ice Age Fossils State Park. Part of a nationwide tradition, these hikes encourage people of all ages to start their year with outdoor exploration and healthy activity.This is our second of two First Day Hikes. The hike will be on the Las Vegas Wash Trail and we will do a New Year's countdown to kick off the hike. This trail is 1.5 miles long over uneven terrain with gravely surfaces, some steps, and steep slopes.
Participants should plan on arriving at the park at least 15 minutes before the start of the program to give them enough time to check in.

Cost: The $3 per person entry fee applies. Kids 12 and under are always free. There is no additional fee for this program.
No registration required.
