Welcome 2025 in the best way possible: communing in nature with friends and family! On this naturalist-guided hike, you'll travel just over 3 miles and explore the myriad of different ecosystems found at Ijams Nature Center. You'll have the opportunity to ask questions and learn about the various birds, mammals, plants, and other wildlife that call the nature center home.
***Admission to this program is free, but donations are always welcome! Registration is still required so we know how many people to expect
Ages: This program is designed for ages 14+
Accessibility: Participants can expect to travel a distance of up to 3.5 miles during the duration of the program over uneven surfaces that may include rocks, roots, and gravel. This program includes various stopping points.
Parking: Parking for this Ijams Education Course is free for all participants. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before the course begins to obtain a free parking pass upon check-in. Refund Policy: No walk-ins will be accepted. Every participant must have a ticket. Ijams only awards full refunds for any cancellations up to 7 days before a program, or if Ijams cancels a program due to inclement weather. Refunds are not awarded for programs with fees of $5 or less for any reason. Tickets are non-transferable.
