Gifford Pinchot State Park | Lewisberry, PA

Join us on our first extended gathering. Select your own accommodations at Gifford Pinchot State Park-from campsites to cabins, some pet-friendly. There will be organized hikes, paddles, and yoga (donation). Feel free to participate in as little or as much as you like. Paddle boards will be available for rent through Aqua Om Paddle with advance reservations.

3:00 pm camping check-in opens, set-up campsite
6:30 pm Paddle on Lake Pinchot
Saturday, May 18
9:30 am Hike-approx 3 miles within park
2:00 pm Paddle followed by
Yoga on Lake Pinchot (suggested $25 donation for yoga)
6:30 pm Community Meal and Campfire at sites 307/308
Sunday, May 19
10:00 am Paddle on Lake Pinchot
1:00 pm Hike-TBD
All activityies dependent on weather conditions.
How It Works
Make your own camping reservation directly with Gifford Pinchot State Park.
Let us know your site number so we can find you.
No registration, no fee to Berks County SUP.
Meals: You provide all your own meals. We hope you’ll join us for a Community Meal on Saturday evening. Bring your own utensils, beverages, and protein to cook on the fire. Prior to the event you’ll sign up for a dish to bring to the meal to share. Categories will be appetizer, side dish, and dessert. S’mores will be made.
Paddle Boards-Bring your own. Launch permit required at PA State Parks. Board rentals are available from Aqua Om Paddle. DM Aqua OM/Kami prior to the weekend to arrange rental.
We will be using anchors for yoga on the lake.
Kayakers are welcome to join us.
Please bring along firewood to the Community Campfire.
Campfire wood, convenience store/gas, pizza, ice available near campground.
Getting to Gifford Pinchot State Park-two locations come up on maps. The campground and the park office. They are not next door to each other. You can go directly to the campground if you have reservations.
Activities will be centered around the “B” loop at the campground. Berks County SUP weekend hosts are located at sites 307 and 308.
