First Baptist Church - 175th Anniversary

This fall we will be celebrating the 175th Anniversary of First Baptist Church in style with a Gala celebration weekend. The theme of the weekend is Honor, Celebrate, Dream – as we honor the past, celebrate the present, and dream about the future.

On Saturday, October 25th we will have a Gala Fundraising meal, with a program including music, remembrances, honoring of long-time members, commendations, videos, and special guests. This will be followed by a catered meal.

If you are unable to attend the gala, on Sunday, October 26th, we will have a special 175th celebratory worship service at 11:00am. Everyone is invited, as we worship God together and praise God for 175 years of being God’s people working together as partners in Christ’s service. After the worship service we will all join together for a celebratory potluck meal, sharing in fellowship as the First Baptist Church family.

Info: During this time there will be presentations, speakers, choirs, and honoring long time members.

Info: Dinner will be served family style at each table. Appetizers will include: egg rolls, cream cheese wontons, and salad. Fried noodles, fried rice, fried chicken, pad thai, and chicken alfredo will be served for the main dish options. If you have any allergy restrictions or require a vegetarian meal, please let us know.
