Yes! You read that right: our next wine dinner will actually be outdoors, on our Biergarten. Monday, January 31, from 6-8pm we're hosting what could be the first event of its kind above the 45th parallel: Waldmann's First Annual Winter Wine Dinner. Loosely based on the hitherto unexplored culinary theme of <...wait for it...> Midwestern ice fishing food fantasies, the menu includes: - Hot mulled Glühwein
- Minnesota Sunfish Banh Mi
- Wisconsin Cassoulet, served from our outdoor woodfire tripod
- Gingered Peach-Cherry Cobbler, made in our outdoor Dutch Ovens
Mejken Thompson, co-founder/owner of Wine Thief Ale Jail will be our guide through four carefully-selected wine pairings whose styles and origins may surprise you! $55 per person, free reservations via link. Vaccine/negative test requirements apply. All seatings outdoors, spaced between parties.
