Please join us for the First Annual Dr. Jim Withers Lecture, featuring Dr. Jim Withers, a global leader in compassionate, justice‑centered care.
Dr. Withers is the Founder of the Street Medicine movement, Founder of the Street Medicine Institute,
Co‑Founder and Medical Director of Operation Safety Net, and Core Faculty of the Center for Street Medicine. In addition to transforming care for people experiencing homelessness, he has played an extraordinary role as an educator and mentor—training
and inspiring generations of students and clinicians, many of whom now lead street medicine programs across the United States and around the world.
This inaugural lecture honors Dr. Withers’ extraordinary legacy and ongoing impact on street medicine, education, and advocacy.
Free lunch will be provided, with a Pittsburgh cookie table to follow.
