My cousin Allan was a beloved father, husband, cousin, and brother, he could light up any room he entered whether you liked it or not you knew he was there. Allan was an avid sportsman and my favorite hunting buddy, whitetail hunting was a very deep routed family tradition for us hoads and I want to start this annual competition to commemorate his memory and keep family’s hunting together. I have chosen muzzleloader season as it was Allan’s favorite time to hunt. Deer can be taken with muzzleloader, bow, and cross bow. Tickets will be out soon you must have a ticket to be eligible for the competition. $20 entry fee cash payouts for largest antlered buck, and largest doe pay out TBD. There will also be more fun awards and all remaining proceeds will be donated to mental health awareness charity’s. Last chance to sign up will be Friday the 12th until the club closes for the night, this will be a one day hunt with dinner, awards ceremony, and after party taking place Saturday night. All deer must be harvested on Saturday the 13th and legally tagged to be eligible everyone will be scored individually but team hunting (deer drives) are allowed. Let’s really kick this first year off with a bang and hopefully this will be a highly anticipated competition for years to come! #justiceformoose
