1 day comprehensive emergency first aid at work training.
About this Event

A comprehensive emergency first aid full day training course, which covers all of the necessary things to know in an emergency situation.


This course gives learners the skills to help someone who is:

  • unresponsive and breathing
  • unresponsive and not breathing (including the use of an automated external defibrillator/AED)
  • having a seizure
  • bleeding heavily
  • suffering from shock
  • burnt


It also includes information on:

  • dealing with an emergency
  • assessing a casualty
  • monitoring a casualty
  • where to get help
  • electrical incidents
  • accident recording and reporting
  • control of substances hazardous to health (COSHH)


The course is a 1 day course. Drinks will be provided, and there will be a lunch break. Lunch isn't provided, so please do bring a a packed lunch or use one of the shops and cafes nearby.

Please note, our tickets are tiered for this event in order to allow folks of all different incomes to attend. All ticket sales go directly back into the running of The Proud Place, Manchester's LGBT+ Community centre.
