First Aid for Dogs

In this first aid course, participants will learn important basics for dealing with emergency situations involving dogs: recognizing warning signs, responding correctly to heatstroke, poisoning or injuries, safely transporting a dog to the veterinarian, as well as a wide range of practical tips and tricks from the everyday work of our animal carers.
The course is primarily intended for dog walkers, dog owners or people who are planning to become one in the near future. No prior knowledge is required. The course takes place without participants’ own dogs.
At 12:00 p.m., we will take a one-hour lunch break. The building must be vacated during the break. Water, both still and sparkling, will be provided throughout the course.
Free parking is available in the Déierenasyl car park.
Upon completion of the course, each participant will receive a certificate of attendance.
