About this Event
This 4-hour course will give the basic awareness training that is needed for anyone to help them respond decisively in an emergency within a combat sports setting.
The purpose of this training is to advise on the potential injuries that occur within contact sports, such as Striking and Grappling . It also includes the awareness of what AEDs (Automated External Defibrillator) are, and how they can be used in an emergency to save a life.
The course will cover:
- Head injuries
- Control of bleeding
- Casualty Recovery Position
- Joint and bone injuries
- Epilepsy
- Asthma
- Diabetes
- Choking
- Allergies
- Strokes and Heart conditions
- AED's and CPR
You will receive a certificate that will be valid for 12 months.
