Get ready to light up your summer night at Swaner Preserve to discover one of nature's most magical insects—fireflies! This family-friendly event is perfect for all ages, and you’re welcome to join us for the whole evening or just stop by for your favorite parts.

- S’mores by the fire
- A firefly talk by Christy Bills, Invertebrates Collection Manager at Natural History Museum of Utah
- Firefly viewing on the Preserve
Please note that firefly sightings typically begin around 9:30-9:45pm on the wetlands of the Swaner Preserve.
