Firearms for film: Pistol Specialist courseCourse will be in Linderud, Oslo
The course is intended to introduce, familiarise or refresh actors & stunt performers with the most common pistols currently seen in films and how to handle them like a professional. We will be using film replica/ training pistols in this class.
Students will work with different firing stances, falling, rolling, perfecting their grip, magazine changes, flashlight techniques and using both covert and overt holsters.
Cost will be Kr2700 for returning students/NSFS and Kr3000 for new students, there is also a discount for students attending Arctic Actions Stunt course/ Fylking.

Places will be limited to 14. If we get overbooked, we will try to find an extra weekend for another course, though this can’t be guaranteed.
In the event of the course being cancelled by us , a refund will be issued.
The course content will include:
Familiarisation with common pistols used in film (Glock, 1911, etc.)
Pistol attachments- suppressors, red dots, lights, top rails, etc.
Loading magazines with dummy rounds
Shooting stances
Types of holsters and how to use them: belts, IWBs (inside waistband) belly-band holsters, shoulder holsters, ankle holsters.
Flashlight techniques
Magazine changes
Fighting from seated and the floor
Dynamic movement
Stress testing
