Firearm Safety & Basic Pistol Qualification for CCW Permit

FIREARMS COURSE TOPICS

• Missouri Use of Deadly Force
• CCW Permit Requirements
• Fundamentals of Shooting
• Gun Range Safety

WHAT NOT TO WEAR

• No high heels or low-cut blouses
• No open-toe shoes or slippers

WAIVER

Firearm safety rules must be observed at all times:

• Always keep firearm pointed in a safe direction
• Keep finger off trigger until ready to shoot
• Do not load firearm until ready to use

CLASS ROOM SESSION

No firearms are allowed within the classroom. After completing the classroom firearm safety session we will meet at the range.

LIVE FIRE SESSION

Will be conducted in Gateway Gun Club in Bridgeton (unless otherwise specified). Bring your own eye and ear protection (also available for purchase at the range). If you do not own a pistol one will be provided to you for an additional charge (add on “Instructor Supplied Firearm" when purchasing ticket).

PREREQUISITE

New firearm owners recommended to complete the prior to this class.
