This beginner-friendly workshop offers a hands-on approach to familiarize you with different types of firearms. You'll learn about the fundamental parts of a gun, what each part does, and the right terminology to use when discussing firearms.
Understanding if a firearm is loaded or not is a critical skill for everyone, not just for those who handle guns. Therefore, a significant part of our workshop is dedicated to teaching you how to determine if a firearm is loaded, the process of safely unloading it, and the importance of always treating a gun as if it's loaded.
Safety is paramount when handling firearms. This workshop aims to instill best practices for firearm safety. We cover essential safety rules, including proper handling, storage, and maintenance. We will demonstrate the correct posture for holding a gun and the safest way to pass a firearm to another person.
No previous experience with firearms is required for this workshop. It is perfect for individuals who want to educate themselves about guns for safety reasons, as well as those who are considering owning a firearm in the future.
Learning Outcomes:
∙ Comprehensive understanding of the different parts of a firearm and their functions.
∙ Ability to determine whether a firearm is loaded.
∙ Proficiency in safely unloading a firearm.
