Fire & Dust is a monthly poetry open mic event. All welcome - page poets, performance poets, slammers, rappers, spoken word artists, and anyone happy to listen to some poetry.
Open mic slots available. Some slots will also be available for sign-up on the night. Or, to reserve a guaranteed slot: register for a ticket. Slots are limited to 3 minutes (a few extended slots may be available on request.)
Bring poems, bring friends, or just bring yourself along for a listen!

HEADLINER: JEMIMA HUGHES
Sit back and don't relax. Jemima will drag you through the “mindfield” of the unorthodox. Always a gripping performance, she will leave you questioning whether she meant to do that, or whether she needs to go and have a lie down. Not for the faint hearted, but definitely from the heart.
Jemima is a multi-winning slam poet. Her collection 'Unorthodox' was published with Verve Poetry Press in 2020.
