DeLand Fire Station 83 has a new look, and the community is invited to see it. The DeLand Fire Department will host a Re-Grand Opening celebration for Fire Station 83 on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 9 a.m. at 1655 E. Taylor Road.
The event marks the completion of a significant expansion and renovation project at the station, which serves as an important hub of emergency response in the eastern DeLand community.
The morning will include a formal opening ceremony, a traditional hose uncoupling in place of a ribbon cutting (this is a fire station, after all!), and guided tours of the newly expanded and renovated facility.
Attendees will have the chance to meet the men and women of Station 83 and get an up-close look at the equipment and spaces that make their work possible. The public is encouraged to attend and celebrate this investment in the safety and service of our community.
