National Fire Prevention Month occurs every October; this year's focus is “Smoke alarms: Make them work for you!"
Come review the simple, but important steps to prevent and be safe in the event of a home fire. In this class, attendees will learn about the importance of having working smoke alarms, how to create a home-escape plan, steps they can take to prevent home fires, and more. As an added bonus, participants will also have the opportunity to learn Hands-Only CPR.
Please note, this class is for participants ages 15+.
The Hands-Only CPR portion of the class is for general education purposes only and is considered a starting point; once participants complete this class, they will not be considered CPR certified and will not meet the requirements if they need a CPR certification for their job.
Advanced registration required. Registration ends 10/13.
