Fire Rescue Services Recruitment Information Session: January 18, 2025

Edmonton Fire Rescue Services (EFRS) invites you to join us for an informative session on career firefighting. Three sessions will be held at the EFRS Training Academy on Saturday, January 18 and each time slot will last for 90 minutes. Following each presentation, there will be time to engage with both active firefighters on duty and members of our recruitment team. This is your chance to ask questions and gain valuable insights firsthand.

The information session will cover a range of topics including an overview of the Edmonton Fire Rescue Services department, an in-depth exploration of firefighter duties and responsibilities, a glimpse into the daily routine of a firefighter, and comprehensive details about the recruitment process for Edmonton Fire Rescue Services. This latter segment will include insights on how to prepare effectively and enhance your competitiveness as a candidate. Firefighter applications will be accepted January 1-31, 2025.
