Fire Prevention Safety Day is coming to downtown Durango on October 11, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Durango Fire & Rescue, LPCSAR, and others are teaming up to bring you an awesome event focused on keeping your home safe, especially when it comes to lithium-ion batteries. We'll be on Main Street right next to Buckley Park, so you can easily pop over while you’re enjoying the Apple Days festival and the farmers market. Stop by our station at 1200 Main Ave to grab some fire safety tips! We look forward to seeing you there and helping our community stay safe.
