We’re in this together—the textured history of ecological systems and Indigenous land tending, the modern practices that have led to their imbalance, and the people who fight and survive fire. Join Dani Burlison and Margaret Elysia Garcia, wildfire survivors and editors of Red Flag Warning: Mutual Aid and Survival in California's Fire Country, as they shed light on living physically, mentally, and emotionally amid ecological destruction. They’ll be joined by firefighters-turned-memoirists Kelly Ramsey and River Selby for a discussion moderated by Leslie Carol Roberts. Limited seating. BYO chair or blanket, encouraged. FREE with SFBG admission, no RSVP required
