Fire Flow Intensive

Deep dive into the world of fire flow
Learn foundational knowledge in fire safety education, experience live demonstrations of fire manipulation and flow art performance, receive movement guidance to feel confident while wielding the flame, practice drills and scenarios with classmates to warm up, and finally - the opportunity will open for students to get live hands on experience. We will be using palm torches for this workshop. Students must wear cotton clothing of at least 90% or higher to participate in the hands on experience. Authentic leather, denim and tight woven wool will also be acceptable with an identifying tag. Natural fibers are naturally fire resistant. Clothing must have a tag to identify its material. *This is a requirement* A cotton bandana, hat, or hood is also recommended
This fire flow intensive workshop is great for anyone seeking a safe space to try fire flow for their first time, looking to learn about fire safety procedures to provide proper assistance to performers, or maybe even elevate or develop a stage act by incorporating the sacred flame!
Students will receive educational material to follow along with in class and to use as a reference as needed along their continued journey. Please bring proper dress for outside (coats, gloves, scarf) for our last hour.
Expect hot tea and hot chocolate!
