Join us every Saturday in April for a month-long celebration of Earth Day. Each Saturday is divided into two sessions:Morning Session: 10:00-noon
BREAK: noon-1:30 (optional mini-work day)
Afternoon Session: 1:30-3:00
Morning Session (10:30-noon):
-For the adults, Master Gardener Sue Styer will be back to discuss how to turn landscape waste into high-quality compost that you can use to enrich your soil.
-Lynette Spencer will be here to help you ignite your mental health by explaining the parallels between fire and self care
-Nicor will have a table with tons of great information about their sustainability initiatives and how you can get involved.

Optional work day
ENTERTAINMENT: fill your ears with musical magic from local group concept_mix
Afternoon Session (1:30-3:00)
-For the kids, Master Gardener Cheri Goll will present Herman the Worm, which is a hands-on activity designed to introduce students to worm anatomy, physiology, behavior, and basic composting.
