Fire Career Development: Interview Workshop

This won't be a sit-and-listen lecture for five hours.

We'll work through realistic interview scenarios, discussion, preparation techniques, and practical exercises designed to help you become more comfortable answering questions and presenting yourself in front of an interview panel.

You'll leave with a better understanding of what to expect, how to prepare, and how to walk into your next interview with confidence.

This workshop is for anyone pursuing a career in the fire service, including:

• First-time firefighter applicants
• Current candidates preparing for upcoming interviews
• Volunteer firefighters looking to transition into a career department
• Firefighters looking to improve their interview skills
• Anyone who wants to better understand the firefighter hiring process.
You don't need to have an interview scheduled to benefit from this workshop. The goal is to start preparing before the opportunity arrives.
