Fire & Dust is a monthly poetry open mic event. All welcome - page poets, performance poets, slammers, rappers, spoken word artists, and anyone happy to listen to some poetry.
Open mic slots available. To sign up for a guaranteed slot: register for a ticket. A few slots will also be available on the night. Slots are limited to 3 minutes (a few extended slots may be available on request.)
Bring poems, bring friends, or just bring yourself along for a listen!

HEADLINER: TOM SASTRY
Hera Lindsay Bird calls Tom “a magician of deadpan". His new book, 'You have no normal country to return to' follows 'A Man's House Catches Fire' (2019) which was highly commended in the Forward Prize and shortlisted for the Seamus Heaney First Collection Prize. Both were published by Nine Arches Press. His pamphlet 'Complicity' (2016) was a Poetry School Book of the Year and a Poetry Book Society pamphlet choice.
