The twelve formerly incarcerated people who will perform at the festival bring a wealth of stage experience, including as standup comedians, TEDx speakers, Moth winners, Shakespeare actors, Marsh performers, and SF Fringe Festival artists. Their stories of incarceration and reinvention, directed by FIPPP’s team of professional theatre directors, give invaluable insight into the circumstances and choices that led to incarceration, the conditions in prison, and the post-prison experience.
DAY FOUR

We develop and present stories by formerly incarcerated people, with the goal of changing the world, one story at a time. We have a packed festival of work planned with powerful solo performances, a few bonus preview events, and three of our popular post-show Ask Me Anything panels.
Since our founding five years ago, we have grown into a full-fledged theater company with a team of eight professional theater directors and twenty formerly incarcerated performers.
We hope to see you in our audience! Please contact Michelle at [email protected] to learn how you can be a part of the FIPPP Festival.
