The mortgage you’re paying is benefiting your landlord, and helping him or her build wealth and equity while it does nothing to benefit you. You do have options!

I am bringing a special homebuyer workshop that specifically caters to the creatively employed, gig economy, self-employed, small business owners and entrepreneurs of Houston, Texas on July 1!

We understand Houston is a city full of entrepreneurs, gig-workers and creatively self employed individuals. I’ve had the opportunity to work in two fields I absolutely love, music and mortgages. Over the years, luckily, I’ve learned about the challenges entrepreneurs and creative’s face when trying to purchase homes. Often, business owners claim legitimate losses on their income taxes that even after adding depreciation back in, there’s not enough income to qualify for a traditional mortgage loan. Or we have business owners who commonly fall behind on taxes, which then in turn, prevents them from qualifying for traditional mortgage products. I have done the research and found solutions to help individuals in these situations.

There’s a side to mortgage banking that caters specifically to the creatively self-employed individuals and entrepreneurs out there just like you! You don’t have to qualify for a conventional or traditional mortgage in order to buy your first home!
