Fintech Masterclass #2: Crafting Effective Customer Contracts

We are incredibly excited to announce that we will be launching a series of three Fintech masterclasses starting in March 2024 in partnership with the team at Contractus, a startup delivering legal and commercial contract services.

The series is aimed at Fintech founders and individuals*, who would like to learn how to craft clear, compliant Fintech contracts, negotation strategies to secure more favorable terms and how to adapt and keep ahead of regulatory industry changes in relation to emerging trends and technologies in Fintech.

The masterclasses are hybrid with an in-person focus (held at Copenhagen Fintech Lab), designed to each operate as a standalone course, though we recommend attending all three sessions to get the most out of it.

Masterclass series

Fintech Masterclass #1: Contracts as a Strategic Asset: The masterclass teaches the crafting of clear, compliant fintech contracts, directly improving the quality of agreements you handle. This leads to stronger customer relationships and a solid legal foundation for your business dealings.

Fintech Masterclass #2: Crafting Effective Customer Contracts: Learn how to effective negotiate strategies which helps in securing more favorable terms, directly impacting your business's bottom line. Fintech Masterclass #3: Compliance and Standards: The focus on the final masterclass will be towards increased regulations and standards and prepares you to adapt contracts to future market and regulatory changes, keeping your business ahead of the curve in a rapidly evolving industry.

Pre-requisites/requirements for signing up*

• You and/or your Fintech are a member of Copenhagen Fintech
• You are a Fintech Founder or part of a Fintech or organisation where you are working within legal/compliance and/or responsible for drafting commercial/internal contracts

About the Contractus Team

The four partners have known each other professionally for years and are all experts with extensive experience from drafting, reviewing and negotiating IT and tech related contracts from a combined commercial and legal/regulatory compliance perspective.

Jesper Mikkelsen was until recently IT Contract lead at Maersk, Gert Grann Jacobsen was Sr. VP in SimCorp responsible for Global Operational Services, Christian Sandbeck has been heading SimCorp’s Contract Management , and Nicolas Trebbien has previously worked as an attorney at Kromann Reumert and later as Sr. Legal Counsel for SimCorp.
