22-year-old Los Angeles-based songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer and artist FINNEAS recently released his debut EP, Blood Harmony. Written and produced entirely by FINNEAS, the seven-track collection exemplifies his skills as a songwriter. Penning lyrics that serve both the heart and head, Blood Harmony perfectly showcases his knack for effortless, heartfelt storytelling, paired with his rousing signature production.
Speaking about the EP, he reveals, “At the beginning of 2019 I decided I wanted to make a collection of songs that encapsulated exactly what my life had felt like for the last 18 months. That collection of songs, is Blood Harmony". He continues, “Almost every song was written and recorded in a Hotel Room or a Tour Bus or on an Airplane or in a Dressing room while I was on tour with my sister. We’d walk off stage and I’d run straight into my dressing room and throw my headphones on and get back to work,” concluding, “Writing and recording this EP was like filling a time capsule with different fragments and memories I’ve made and now, they’re all yours.”
Earlier this month, FINNEAS received an impressive 5 GRAMMY Award® nominations including the prestigious Producer of the Year, Non-Classical, Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical, as well as Record of the Year, Album of the Year and Song of the Year with his sister Billie Eilish for her groundbreaking No. 1 debut album WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? and hit single ‘bad guy.’
After recently completing his first sold-out North American headlining tour this past fall, FINNEAS will again be joining Billie on her upcoming WHERE DO WE GO? World Arena Tour in 2020. FINNEAS has also confirmed solo festival performances at Hangout Festival in Gulf Shores, Alabama, Madrid’s Mad Cool Festival and NOS Alive ‘20 festival in Lisbon. Responsible for penning international smashes ‘ocean eyes’ and ‘when the party’s over’ and producing the No. 1 debut album WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? FINNEAS recently topped the Billboard Hot 100 Producers charts for 5 consecutive weeks, with three songs that he solely produced featured on the Billboard Hot 100. He also ties with his sister at No. 3 on the Hot 100 Songwriters Chart after sharing four total weeks at No. 1. To date, FINNEAS has ruled the Songwriters chart for a total of 10 weeks.
FINNEAS’ trademark production can also be heard on Selena Gomez’ No. 1 single, “Lose You To Love Me,” JP Saxe and Julia Michaels’ collaboration, “If The World Was Ending,” and most recently on “Used To This” (which he also co-wrote) and “First Man,” both featured on Camila Cabello’s sophomore album, Romance.
VACCINE POLICY
With our return to live concerts and our commitment to producing safe events, all patrons will need to show proof of vaccination (must be 2 weeks past final dose) or a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours from the time of entry along with a government issued photo ID. Proof of vaccination can only include a CDC COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card, a clear photocopy or digital photo of the CDC card. Fans who have either (1) a medical condition, or (2) a closely-held religious belief that prevents vaccination, can still attend the concert by showing proof of a negative COVID-19 test performed within the previous 72 hours that matches the government issued photo ID. Taking this step helps to ensure the safety of our guests, staff, and the artists, and implementing this simple measure minimizes risk and the spread of the virus. We encourage you to get vaccinated if you have not already!
MASK MANDATE
Following updated guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and based on Chicago’s current local COVID-19 data, the Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH) is requiring that everyone age two or older, regardless of vaccination status, wear masks in public indoor settings, effective Friday, August 20, 2021. A non-vented N95 mask or other well-fitted mask is strongly recommended to provide maximum protection. We will not allow a scarf, ski mask, balaclava, bandana, turtleneck, collar, single layer of fabric, or any mask that has an unfiltered one-way exhaust valve.
COVID-19 WARNING
An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any place where people gather. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. You assume all risks, hazards, and dangers arising from or relating in any way to the risk of contracting COVID-19 or any other communicable disease or illness, or a bacteria, virus or other pathogen capable of causing a communicable disease or illness, whether occurring before, during, or after the event, however caused or contracted, and voluntarily waive all claims and potential claims against Jam Productions, Ltd. and the Vic Theatre (including Vic Holdings, LLC, Freed Vic LLC, Albert Interests, LLC, Victoria Entertainment Properties, LLC and Vic Operating Company LLC) relating to such risks.
