Looking for a personalized gift for Mother's Day? or a special piece of jewelry that reminds you of loved ones?

Local jewelry artist Anne Nichelson of fortenna jewelry will be holding this unique opportunity on Saturday, April 6th! Reserve your time slot now to ensure you have your creation in time for Mother's Day.

Anne will guide you through creating a unique necklace with your own fingerprint impressions and/or impressions of those who are special to you. She'll take the impressions in jeweler's wax and have them cast in sterling silver or gold, ready within approx. 6 weeks. These make great gifts especially for moms and grandmothers!

Book your time slot and bring yourself, your children, significant other, sibling, etc. Fun combinations: mother and children, siblings, or significant others.

** PLEASE NOTE: If you have 1-2 people in your group who will be coming for impressions, then please reserve one time slot only. If there are 3 or more people in your group, then please choose an additional time slot.

D e t a i l s:

- Style options: At the start of your appointment time, you will have the choice to create one, two, or three pendants. Pendants are offered in two sizes (small and medium), and you can choose to make the impression on one-side only or both sides. Medium is approximately the size of a dime in diameter.

You will also have the option to choose from two sterling silver chain styles, both 16-18" in length.

Samples will be available on site.

- Metal: Choose sterling silver, gold-plated, or 14k solid yellow gold.

- Pricing: Depending on the size and number of pendants you choose the price for the sterling silver jewelry ranges from $179 to $319 plus MA 6.25% sales tax. Solid gold and gold-plated styles and pricing are also available. Please note all pieces made at the fortenna event at be jeweled need to be purchased that day. We accept cash, venmo, and credit card payments.

- Timing: Anne will take your impressions in wax and then your finished pieces will ship or be available for pickup within approx. 6 weeks.

** It's free to reserve your time slot, but if you are not able to make your appointment time, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance so we can open the time slot up to those on the waitlist. Significant amounts of time and effort go into planning these customized events so we appreciate when you join us and arrive for your specific slot. If you do need to cancel please do so by emailing Anne at [email protected]. Please try to arrive approx. 5 minutes prior to your appointment time. During this time, we'll check you in and you'll be able to view the samples and make your style decisions.
