Class Description
Step away from rules, brushes, and expectations. This beginner-friendly finger painting class invites adults to explore color, texture, and movement using only their hands.
You will be guided through simple, calming prompts designed to help you relax, build confidence, and reconnect with your creativity—no art experience required. The focus is not on creating a perfect painting, but on enjoying the process, letting go of stress, and experiencing paint in a playful, mindful way.
Get a little messy, and leave with a finished canvas and a sense of creative freedom.
What You Will Learn
- How to paint using your hands and fingers instead of brushes
- Simple techniques for blending, layering, and creating texture
- How to express feelings and ideas through color and movement

Hand Warm-Up & Sensory Play
Purpose: Reduce fear of touching paint.
Dip one finger at a time into paint.
Test paint on canvas or edge.
Explore tapping, smearing, dragging
Fingertip dots and lines
Palm blending
Side-of-hand swipes
Prompt:
“Add one new color where the painting feels unfinished.”
