Step into Whitecliffe’s School of Fine Arts for a two-hour Contemporary Drawing workshop with artist and Senior Lecturer, Matt Ellwood.
In this hands-on session, you’ll experience what it’s like to work in a Fine Arts drawing studio, you’ll explore:
• Translating printed photography into charcoal drawings
• Sustained realism techniques
• Quick mark-making exercises
• Approaches to working with text and image
All materials will be provided. Students are welcome to bring printed photographic imagery of their choice, or use imagery supplied on the day.
