Step into Whitecliffe’s School of Fine Arts for a two-hour Contemporary Drawing workshop with artist and Senior Lecturer, Matt Ellwood.
In this hands-on session, you’ll experience what it’s like to work in a Fine Arts drawing studio, you’ll explore:
• Translating printed photography into charcoal drawings
• Sustained realism techniques
• Quick mark-making exercises
• Approaches to working with text and image
All materials will be provided. Students are welcome to bring printed photographic imagery of their choice, or use imagery supplied on the day.
Whether you’re considering a future in Fine Arts or simply want to expand your creative skills, this is your opportunity to immerse yourself in drawing at Whitecliffe.
