Maddy is the deputy editor at BRICKS Magazine and a freelance fashion journalist. Since joining BRICKS in 2019, she has rebuilt BRICKS' web platform and curates the magazine's online output, commissioning underrepresented voices and working with the biggest up-and-coming names across fashion, music and the arts. Aside from BRICKS, Maddy is a model and, having been born with a disability, she is passionate about expanding visual representations of what disability looks like in fashion media.

Amelia Godel is a 22-year-old Fashion Art Direction student based in Manchester who started her jewellery business during lockdown. Jewelz by Mealz makes one-of-a-kind pieces out of upcycled and secondhand materials, encouraging more ethical consumption and providing an alternative to fast fashion.

Darwin Alford aka Reclaimed DNA – @sustaianbledna on IG, @reclaimeddna on TikTok

Darwin Alford is a sustainability activist, content creator and the founder of the fashion brand Reclaimed DNA. Through her TikTok account, Darwin educates her audience about the fashion industry’s most exploitative practices and advice on how to adopt more sustainable styling habits, while her fashion brand creates custom looks using second-hand fabrics.

Nicole Stark aka Glow Nic Vintage – @glownicvintage on IG, TikTok and Finds

Nicole Stark is the founder of Glow Nic Vintage, an Edinburgh-based, Black-owned vintage fashion brand specialising in y2k and noughties gems.
