About this Event
This workshop is open to monologue work, original scene work with a partner or two, and other material (an audition or booked job for a film, play or series)
It's an invaluable experience for an Actor to create in a safe environment. It enables actors to enhance their creativity, concentration and commitment in a supportive environment. I encourage those interested in developing their craft to join us and experience that growth. The workshop is flexible and drop ins are encouraged, meaning if you are preparing for a role and wish to work on it for a few workshops and then come another time that's fine. It is the same format as the Actors Studio of New York.
About the facilitator:
Tomislav is a versatile storyteller with a rich backgound in writing, directing and teaching. He received his masters degree in writing and directing at Columbia University in 1993, and has worked with well known directors such as David Lynch, Emir Kusturica, and Martin Scorsese. He is also a lifetime member of the Actors Studio in New York which has shaped his process in helping actors add layers to their craft.
