Finding PPI Contributors and Opportunities in Health and Social Care Research

As part of the PPI Ignite Festival 2024 the PPI Ignite Network at DCU will host an in-person event focused on finding PPI contributors and opportunities in health and social care research. The aim of this event is to provide time and space for attendees (PPI contributors, researchers, research support staff, clinicians, patient/community organisations) to reflect on best practice for PPI recruitment, discuss challenges and to share helpful resources. This is based on feedback from our partners and those whom we have provided PPI assistance to.

This collaborative event presents an opportunity for attendees to come together to interact, share insights and experience. The first part will feature speakers and a panel discussion, the second part will be round table discussions and sharing of resources for PPI recruitment. Experiences and materials shared and developed on the day will be used to develop a resource gathering tips, tools and best practice for finding PPI contributors and PPI opportunities into one location.
