Join us for a new segment of the "Finding Higher Ground" program series: Shaping a Regional Identity.
Retired KMA Executive Director David Butler will reminisce about the genesis and subsequent development of the permanent "Higher Ground" installation at the KMA and how it rooted the museum more deeply in the region.
"Finding Higher Ground" is an ongoing series of educational programming and events that explore the expanding narrative within the KMA’s permanent collection exhibition, Higher Ground: A Century of the Visual Arts in East Tennessee.
