Finding Gary - A Story of Loss, Reunion and Pride

The year is 1978. Cafe owner Frances is coming to terms with the passing of her dear mum, Betty, but also the deathbed secret that she had an illegitimate child, Gary, before Frances was born. Frances is lifted from depression by her ex-partner Julia, and friend Tom as they successfully track down Gary as the owner of a cabaret bar, the Buzz Club, in London’s Soho. To the shock of his aunt Molly and Frances herself, finding Gary was not quite what they expected! However, Gary is soon embraced by his new family and they find themselves very proud of who he is!

The show is performed by The Starlighters, a community theatre company based in Walthamstow.
