A Space to Reclaim, Reconnect and Remember
In a world where women’s voices are so often silenced, where invisibility and suppression are woven into everyday life, there is a deep and necessary call to return to our truth.
Finding your voice is not just about speaking. It is about reconnecting with your body, your breath, and your inner knowing. Through gentle and grounding somatic practices, we begin to release the layers of tension, fear and conditioning that have kept us quiet for too long.
This is a space to feel, to listen, to soften and to speak from that place of deep presence. It is not about performance. It is about authentic expression.
You are not too much. You are not too emotional, too sensitive, too loud or too quiet.
You are whole, and your voice matters.
Workshop Overview
Find Your Voice is a trauma informed series of monthly workshops (summer break) that supports women to gently explore their voice through the body. These sessions combine somatic movement, vocal exploration, and breath awareness to support:
- Regulation of the nervous system
- A deeper relationship with the body
- A more free, grounded and expressive voice
Each session invites you into a space of safety and curiosity, where your voice can emerge in its own time and way. No singing or prior experience is required. These workshops are inclusive and open to all women.
Why Voice and the Nervous System?
Your voice is not separate from your body. It is deeply connected to your breath, your emotions, and your sense of safety. When the nervous system is under stress, the voice often reflects this; becoming tight, shaky, or even silent.
The vagus nerve plays a vital role in this system. It influences heart rate, digestion, breath, and emotional regulation. Practices such as humming, chanting and breathwork directly support the vagus nerve, helping you to:
- Feel calmer and more grounded
- Reduce anxiety and overwhelm
- Strengthen your sense of inner safety
- Reclaim your voice as a source of truth and connection
By gently combining vocal work with somatic awareness, these workshops offer a safe space to explore voice as a living, embodied experience.
